Best Time to Visit Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary & Kaziranga National Park

The ideal time to visit Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary and Kaziranga National Park is during the winter and early spring months (November to April) when the weather is pleasant, and wildlife sightings are at their peak.

Best Months:

  • November to April – The parks are fully open, and animals are easily spotted as they come out to bask in the sun.

  • February to March – Ideal for bird watching as migratory birds arrive.

Avoid:

  • May to October – Both parks remain closed during the monsoon (June–September) due to heavy rains and flooding, making safaris impossible.

For the best experience, visit early mornings or late afternoons when animals are most active. Let me know if you need more details!
