Itinerary

  • Day 1
    NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport – Gangtok (120 kms / 5 hrs)

    The pickup point will be either New Jalpaiguri Junction or Bagdogra Airport. From any of these pick-up points, we will take you to Gorumara. The 73-kilometer journey from NJP to Gorumara will take roughly 2 hours to reach. On the first day, take a thrilling elephant ride (direct payment basis) through the forest. Enjoy the tribal dance in the evening. You can see one-horned rhinoceros, elephant herds, Indian Gaur, leopards, and other animals in Gorumara National Park. Spend a memorable night at Gorumara after dinner.

  • Day 2
    Excursion to South Khayerbari & Phuentsholing

    After breakfast in the morning. South Khayerbari, also known as Leopard and Royal Bengal Tiger Rescue Centre, is a North Bengal animal rescue and rehabilitation center located on the banks of the Torsha River. From Gorumara, the distance will be about 81 km to South Khayerbari. Check into your hotel and get some rest. Phuentsholing, a small town in Bhutan, is your next stop for the day. Phuentsholing is the Indian sister town of Jaigaon, and it is located near Jaigaon in Bhutan. It takes about 2 hours and 50 kilometers to get there from South Khayerbari. After passing through the colorful Bhutan Gate with a Thunder dragon carved on it, you'll visit the Amo Chhu Crocodile Breeding Centre and the wish-fulfilling monastery Karbandi. After this thrilling journey, you will be driven to your resort, where you will have the rest of the day to yourself. Stay in South Khayerbari for the night.

  • Day 3
    Excursion to Jaldapara Jungle Safari - IXB/NJP

    Jaldapara National Park is only a 20-minute drive from Khayerbari. Check out of the lodge after breakfast will take you to Jaldapara for the Jaldapara Jungle Safari. This Jungle Safari will be exciting as it takes place in the lush forest. The most exciting part will be seeing one-horn rhinos, as Jaldapara is home to one-horned rhinoceros and Bengal Floricans. In terms of rhinoceros population, Jaldapara is Indias second-largest after Kaziranga. Its time to say farewell to Dooars after exploring the less-traveled parts of Jaldapara. Well take you to NJP/ Bagdogra, which is around 122 kilometers away from Jaldapara. Your 2 Nights and 3 Days Dooars Tour Package will come to an end with spellbinding memories once you arrive in NJP or Bagdogra Airport.
